The Center for Family Development is a multi-disciplinary, comprehensive, "home-base" for a team of expert Mental Health Professionals dedicated to Family Empowerment.
We view disorders of Learning, Mood, Behavior, or Thinking in a family context. It often appears that only a single individual is involved with a diagnosis of (for example), ADHD, Depression, Learning Disabilities, Anxieties, etc. However, research has shown that the entire family is affected by the disorder, and can, through certain specific interventions, help the individual both recover and contribute to a higher level of family harmony.
We combine expertise from the fields of Child and Adult Psychiatry, Psychology, Group Therapy, Nutritional Sciences, and Family System Theory in our evaluation and treatment interventions.
Our involvement can be tailored to the specific needs of the family; from single session consultations to brief intensive solutions strategies, to more long term care.
